Application-oriented research projects in audiovisual law are emerging.

This includes legal audiovisuals, such as those created in “The Yale Visual Law Project” (see http://community.beck.de/gruppen/forum/audio-visual-law/student-initiated-alternative-law-journal-covering-aspects-of-audiovisual-law-the-yale-vi) and in REGINA AUSTIN’s “Documentaries & the Law Project” (see http://www.law.upenn.edu/academics/institutes/documentaries/).

There is a new legal information film project at Coventry University Law School.

With the help from a professional film-maker, law students will create legal information films.

These films will provide information on such matters as arranging a power of attorney and understanding consumer rights. The legal audiovisuals are designed to inform especially elderly people about legal matters they are concerned with.

The up coming legal information films will be offered to charitable bodies and local councils.
