The community on Multisensory Law (Multisensorisches Recht) at C. H. Beck publishers aims to introduce a new legal discipline to a broader audience. Moreover, the community's purpose is to foster and establish a scientific and practical discourse on Multisensory Law. Among others, the following key questions need to be addressed in order to introduce this discipline:

1. What does the term "Multisensory Law" mean?
2. What is the subject matter of Multisensory Law?
3. What cognitive/epistemological interest does Multisensory Law have?
4. Into which branches can Multisensory Law be subdivided?
5. In which cultural, economic, legal, political, social, and technical context is Multisensory Law embedded? How do these contexts interact with Multisensory Law and vice versa?
6. What is the purpose of Multisensory Law?
7. What are its theoretical foundations?
8. What are the historical roots of Multisensory Law?
9. In what way does Multisensory Law constitute a new legal discipline?
10. Why does "Multisensory Law" lend itself as a term to the new legal discipline?
11. What is the relationship of Multisensory Law with other established legal disciplines? That is to say, how could they benefit from Multisensory Law? In particular, what benefits does Multisensory Law's have for legal actors and for laypersons?

These and many other questions suffuse the fabric of Multisensory Law. My forthcoming article "Multisensory Law - A New Legal Discipline?" (to be published in MultiMedia und Recht) attempts to give tentative answers to some of these questions.
