The Open Models Initiative deals with the free access to models, modeling environments, and tools as well as with the corresponding community interaction.

In the context of visual law, the tools and methodologies developed at Open Models may be beneficial in particular to the polysyntactic encoding of semantics in (legal) visualizations. On the website openmodels.at, it is currently possible to access selected Open Models Projects that already offer software tools for download or online usage upon registration.
